Let's start with what you expect from a hostel. If you're on a romantic trip, you should look for more expensive options to not disappoint your companion. But for a hostel, it's a good accommodation choice. I needed a place to stay near Berlin, and that's what I got. I spent the night and went about my business. I reached the center of Berlin by car in 25 minutes. You can cook or heat up purchased food in the common kitchen. I'm not sure if there are dishes; everyone brings their own. There are several shared toilets. By evening, they can get dirty, but in the morning, the staff comes and cleans thoroughly. So everything is sparkling in the morning. The girls at the reception are friendly and explain everything. There is a parking lot behind the hostel, costing 2.5 euros per night. In front of the hostel, there is free parking along the road. If you're lucky, you'll find a free spot. Advice! When booking a hostel for 15 euros per day, imagine in advance what kind of clientele and people are staying there for this money. Don't exaggerate your expectations. The rooms smell of smoke, so I slept with the window open. But it was very quiet. There were no noises from the corridor or neighboring rooms all night. The room I got had 2 beds. My roommate turned out to be a very quiet guy who went to bed at 20:00. Obviously, he lives in this room permanently. The beds sag under a person's weight. Sleeping is not very comfortable, but you can endure it for 1-2 nights. As I mentioned earlier, someone actually lives there. The mattresses creak horribly with every movement. It's because of the materials they're covered with. But on the other hand, it's good. The material of the mattresses allows them to be easily cleaned and disinfected. So everyone sleeps on a clean bed without bedbugs. I didn't notice the creaking of beds from neighboring rooms all night. The location of the hostel is convenient.

After seeing some of the reviews I was a little apprehensive about what to expect. However I was pleasantly surprised - the receptionists were lovely and helpful. The room was clean, access in and out of the hostel after hours was easy with the electronic room key. Breakfast buffet was really very good and all the breakfast staff smiley and pleasant. There is a little bar outside open 2pm to 10pm where you can order beer, snacks or a small pizza. The hostel is about 40mins to 1hr to Berlin centre but it is in a quiet area. Easiest way to the centre I found is the Number 68 tram to Köpenick S Bahnhof and then the S3 train to Alexanderplatz (Destination Spandau). Not many places to eat out immediately in the area but a 5 minute tram ride will take you to local cafes and restaurants. There is an Aldi supermarket 5 mins walk away if self-catering.

The whole concept is perfect. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable and every thinkable need is taken care of with stylish taste and love.(The washbasins are Vilary and Bosh porcelain.) The common kitchens provide every imaginable facilities . The combined kitchen and lounges are ideal to meet fellow tourists in decent atmosphere (without noisy music). The army of cleaning staff and score of supervisors the difficult job with dedicated passion. The reception staff is highly professional, very dedicated, polite , genuine friendly and amazing. Just enjoy the hospitality and try to plan much more time otherwise you will regret for long time.

I liked the fact that photos of the facilities were 100% correct in real life. I really liked the showers and toilets and how clean it was everyday. Even toilet papers were added. Fridge in room was such a nice surprise! I liked that there weren't that many people around our room. I liked that there is public transport stop right across the street. I liked the staff. I liked the vending machines. I really like the easy check in and check out process and the possibility of self check in and check out.

Martin

I had booked a place to sleep with a friend in a shared dormitory. But I am currently walking with crutches and upon arrival the receptionist gave us a room upgrade! We got a double room on the ground floor. Furthermore, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hostel is cleaned every morning and the room was clean and the beds already made. The hostel is located 16 kilometers from the center of Berlin, but is easily accessible by tram and S-bahn.
